Poirier’s Las Americas V.1 drops on February 16

“Las Americas V.1,” the latest EP from Buenos Aires-based record label ZZK Records, is set for digital release next Tuesday, February 16. Produced by Poirier, a DJ/producer from Montreal, “Las Americas” features a reggaeton-inspired track with vocals by Boogat. The album, which also includes remixes from Uproot Andy, El Remolon, Lagartijeando, and Douster, is sure to unite Montreal and Buenos Aires as hermanos in music.

On Saturday 20th February 2010, for the first time ever in the UK, Vita.Luna proudly presents an exclusive 8bit Records Showcase ( http://www.myspace.com/8bitrecord ) . Established in 2005 by Nick Curly and Gorge and hailing from Mannheim, Germany, the aim of ‘8bit’ was simple – To release music they both love!

With a focus on Deep, Minimal House, this label, along with Nicks sister label, Cecile, has grown beyond belief over the past year. With a catalogue of past releases that include tracks from the likes of SIS, Johnny D, Lemos and Oxia. 2010 is set to be another huge year for 8bit, with music coming from AudioFly, Rajo, Hector, Pablo and of course Nick Curly and Gorge.
