In addition to touring, hot off the tails of a sold out PLM showcase during WMC at Mekka in Miami,Gramatik is announcing his new EP #digitalfreedom. As an artist that’s based his entire career on the platform of free file sharing, Gramatik is dedicating his EP to the fight against the severe internet censorship bills we’ve been hearing about so much in recent months. With this EP, Gramatik hopes to spread awareness about the government acts that seek to regulate the internet.

This EP also represents an evolution of Gramatik’s sound, as it strays from his usual chilled out hip-hop driven beats, and enters a more bass heavy realm. Good music does not just stick to one genre, and neither does Gramatik. With this EP, Gramatik wants you to open your ears to the new vibes, and embrace the versatility in his production.

Clark: New Video Premiere Black Stone (from ‘Iradelphic’, out now)

To celebrate the release of Clark’s album Iradelphic, Warp are very proud to present this short film. The project, directed by collective The Vikings, is a short, heartwrenching tale sound tracked by “Black Stone”, a piano composition taken from the album.

The Vikings wanted to work with Clark saying “We’ve always loved Clark’s music. The same clandestine force runs all the way from Clarence Park through to Iradelphic: a beautiful and eternal undercurrent that will continue to supersede classification. We wanted to highlight this timeless aspect of his Clark’s craft.”

Clark explains “I’ve been wanting to work with Xander and Bjoern for a while now. They totally nailed the look, narrative and mood, with the help of a little bit of English snow and some wonderfully disgusting insects. I can’t really think of anything else like this film, which is obviously a really good sign”.

Over the past few years dance music, and dubstep especially, has finally captured the imagination of the American public, creating several international superstars along the way. Now one of the most versatile producers of this new breed, San Francisco’s Noah D AKA Noah Dickinson finally releases his full-length debut album Perspective, worldwide this April on SMOG Records.

With over 10 years production experience, it’s hard to believe that this is Noah D’s debut full-length. Initially producing hip-hop and drum & bass, it was when Noah teamed up with longlife friends and roommates Babylon System that his career really stepped up a gear.

The resulting tracks caught the ears of dubstep pioneers such as Skream and N-Type, and saw London’s Rinse FM place Noah D on heavy rotation, spurring him on to complete his debut full-length, Perspective.

Featuring collaborations with the likes of South London’s P.Money (‘Let Yourself Go’), Antiserum and Newham Generals (‘Gonna Get Dark’) and rapper The Grouch on lead single ‘Just Right’, Perspective is an intricate and diverse album, as Noah D fuses dubstep and grime, hip-hop, electronica and drum n’ bass together in his own unique style.
