FaltyDL – ‘Hardcourage’ (preview)
Kitted out in the finest of old skool, trad Ninja livery, here comes the new single from Drew Lustman aka FaltyDL. Designed squarely for the dancefloor, the two tracks catch hold of you and never let go. “Hardcourage” starts off ostensibly four to the floor before working in enough subtle rhythmic drive to satisfy the most ardent polyrhythmagist. Dub influences abutted with jazz swing and rave insistence, FaltyDL makes the hard work of getting you moving look easy. “Our House Stab” continues at a similar tempo and with a melancholy feel which resolves into such a jackalicious groove that shape-making is all but guaranteed.
