Review
For Eros 69 festival, Junesex celebrated 40 years of sexual freedom mixing guitar riffs and sexy moves in a hot live performance.

Junesex a mis le feu au Festival Eros 69 avec ses riffs de guitare moites et ses postures sexy… Une belle célébration de 40 ans de liberté sexuelle!

About Junesex
Put together in 2002, through work, chance and love meetings,Junesex spent their first two years defining a sound and making an album completly disrespecting rules, codes and gender barriers.
They released “So Fucking Chic” in 2004 with a mission to inject fresh air in the world of pop probably the only album where you can find warped out approaches on rap, hard rock, electro, ballads, and 4/4 floorfillers side by side.
You could be on a dancefloor and be hit by their cover of run dmc’s ‘u b illin’ (or how to make people dance to a baroque recorder) or their infectuous housey anthem ‘get’s close to mine’.
rock, groove, pop, electronic, indie radios and press all followed each playing or writing about a different side of junesex.
Studio band at the time they, then went on to put a live act together, and they managed with a combinasion of sequencers drum machines keyboards bass, guitar, effects and percussions to translate their unique sound and energy on stage
Gigs followed trough out France and Germany.
Time was then spent making babies, building a studio and producing friends like toothless dancer finally Junesex got together for their second opus,
Sex In Times Of War, out in february 2009 with one idea in mind, just more. Junesex wants more sound, more emotions, more trance, more love, more fun, more sex…
You can get a hint at what is coming by checking out the two first singles the ballad of tom scraw remixed by the minimal goddess chloe and worst than love with remixes from losoul and gilb’r and a juicy cover of iggy pop’s classic nightclubbing.
in the meantime junesex is testing the new album live in france to great public acclaim many tried to sum it up : pop, minimal folk, electro funk, house, rock, acid love, chic sex, bodily fluids
only one label fits: JUNESEX
Active since: 01/01/2002
Style: Electronic, Electro, Rock, Rock & Roll

Review
Maximo Park likes to PERFORM! Their energy on stage leaves no doubt… communicative, well rehearsed and powerful. The crowd almost had a tough time keeping up with the dancing & jumping frenzy of the Newcastle boys. Paul “Scooby” Smith is perfect in his role of band leader: directing the musicians, playing with the audience and living the true rock spirit. From their classic post-punk tunes to the more recent chart-toppers, Maximo Park’s sound is definitely turbulent, far from the stadium pop of their UK counterpart Cold****.

Review
These guys are crazy!!! Dressed in black and white jumpsuits, the 3 Danish guys from Whomadewho drive their music to psycheland. The energy they release on stage is an everlasting orgasm… The music is rowdy and immature enough to make all the folks dance… yet refined and truly sophisticated!
Whomadewho is the electro / rock band we’re really diggin these days. Stay tuned for more music & some hilarious police action when Who Made Who steps out of the club in PART 2 of the video, coming soon on Grandcrew!

And you ?

Ibiza Rocks kicks off on Tuesday 16 June with some very special surprise guests at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, the only hotel to offer an auditorium style atmosphere and private viewing balconies off the bedrooms! Known for nurturing the best new bands, Ibiza Rocks first booked The Kooks in 2005, unsigned and unknown. Now they return as one of the biggest and best bands in Britain and will take to the infamous open-air stage set in the very centre of the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on 30 June.

Ibiza will just keep getting hotter in the weeks that follow with Pendulum, The Enemy and Dizzee Rascal – back by popular demand and a personal mission to be back at the epicentre of the action in the newly rejuvenated San Antonio.

Keeping it a truly international affair, New York based bands Vampire Weekend and MGMT will perform for the very first time at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel on 18 August and 25 August – two of the most exciting names in music right now at the most happening hotel in Ibiza. Ibiza Rocks closing party on 8 September comes courtesy of Klaxons; guitar kids diving into dance culture – a match made in music heaven and the perfect end to what’s going to be Ibiza Rocks’ most outstanding series of summer gigs yet.

Ibiza’s premier live music promoters have pulled it off again and along with the best line up to date, Ibiza Rocks boasts its best deals, with the addition of specially priced midweek breaks for the more flexible traveller and added extras. All holidays booked with www.ibizarocks.com include a gig ticket and entry to Ibiza Rocks’ new after party ‘Reclaim the Dancefloor!’ at Eden. Advanced sales also ALL include entry into ‘Reclaim the Dancefloor!’ where the crowds can carry on the party with some of the most cutting edge DJ’s and live acts on the planet.

Andy McKay, Promoter, Ibiza Rocks said: ‘Ibiza Rocks has pioneered a social rejuvenation of the island. The land of dad house where money talked is being replaced. Youth is the islands vibrant new currency. Move over old timers and long live Ibiza Rocks.’

With the introduction of pool and stage view rooms this year, fans can quite literally book a room with a ‘star’ view and a break abroad that could cost less than a weekend festival ticket.
