Irish singer, song-writer and producer Mykel has just unveiled his latest video for new single ‘Hold On.’
The video is directed by Paris Zarcilla, who is the ex creative director of SBTV and has previously shot videos for the likes of Ed Sheeran. The hard hitting video was shot on location in London and beautifully mirrors the emotional intensity of the single.
The lead single is taken from his artfully crafted 5 track EP which is set to build on the stirring success of his debut single - ‘Sweet Valentine’. Nine months in the works, the finished EP is a stunning collection of soulful and emotive tunes from start to finish and is out 15th April.
The mix features the huge Rebel Sonix remixes of Hiatus ‘Insurrection’ (soon to be available through Skint records) and John B’s ‘Red Sky’ alongside original track Psydstep (Eight FX). Featuring choice cuts from the Qemists, Nero and Breakage amongst others, the mix effortlessly glides through different flavours of dubstep from heavier sounds through to dubbed out techy grooves culminating in a tearing drumstep/DnB rinseout session.
