Another month brings another chapter in the whole Modeselektor / Moderat remix series, and we’d go as far as to say this was the best yet with Untold and Surgeon both getting their hands on “Seamonkey”. Untold is first up, providing us with possibly his most “up for it” track to date, sitting somewhere in between old school grime and dubstep with a hint of electro and that trademark touch that’s cemented Untold as one of our favourite artists of the year. He’s turned the understated original into something rather epic, giving us one of these tunes that makes your hair stand on end. On the flip, Surgeon continues his onslaught of industrial tinged Techno bangers. Idiosyncratic metal percussion and claustrophobic noise take us to the darkest of spaces where the walls get closer with every beat.
