KASKADE NEW ALBUM ‘FIRE & ICE’
MAKES DEBUT AT #4 THIS WEEK ON iTUNES OVERALL ALBUM CHART

KASKADE WILL CELEBRATE ALBUM RELEASE WITH BACK-TO-BACK SOLD-OUT SHOWS AT NYC ROSELAND BALLROOM OCTOBER 28 AND 29, BEFORE PLAYING MARQUEE LAS VEGAS ON OCTOBER 31

In 2010 Kaskade’s album “Dynasty” (Ultra Music, April 27th, 2010) debuted on the iTunes Overall Album Chart at #5, this year he went one better, landing at #4 with “Fire & Ice”(Ultra Music). Coldplay’s “Mylo Xyloto” was #1, followed by Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger”, Michael Buble’s “Christmas” and then Kaskade’s “Fire & Ice”. All four records were released October 24 on iTunes. It’s an unprecedented debut from an electronic dance music artist on an independent label. “Fire & Ice” will have a physical release November 8.

“It’s incredible to see my fans accept the record like this. The ‘Fire & Ice’ concept was a first for me, it’s a personal record, and I’m thrilled that people have responded. It still seems crazy to me to see an electronic album in the Top 5, it’s such an exciting time to be working in EDM. I have to say a huge thank you to all my fans for their support.”

Kaskade (aka Ryan Raddon) has spent the last twelve months creating the double disc album in his Santa Monica studio, following on from his 2010 album ‘Dynasty’. A conceptual first in dance music, ‘Fire & Ice’ explores both sides of Kaskade’s personality, with the two discs serving as a soundtrack for a total nightout. His seventh studio album includes collaborations with Skrillex, Neon trees, Skylar Grey and Dada Life.

From his ground-breaking double residency in Las Vegas at Marquee and Encore Beach Club, to headlining the 20+ date amphitheater tour IDentity this summer, curating a legendary BBC Essential Mix, and being named America’s Best DJ by DJ Times and Pioneer, the renowned producer Kaskade has simply not stopped in 2011. With the debut of ‘Fire & Ice’ at #4 on iTunes Overall Album Chart his incredible rise to the pinnacle of dance music shows no sign of slowing down.

Kaskade will celebrate his album release with back-to-back shows at Roseland Ballroom October 28 and 29. Joining him for the two ‘Tricks Or Beats’ dates will be Alesso, Le Castle Vania, MNDR, Sleepy & Boo and on Saturday October 29 Bart B More, Theophilus London, Alvin Risk and David Waxman.
