Fresh from headlining the Other Stage at the world-renowned Glastonbury Festival, Chase and Status has announced their third album Brand New Machine, which will be coming out October 7th via Casablanca Records. THE DARCYS return September 17 with Warring, the final installation in a trilogy of releases on renowned Canadian label Arts & Crafts.
Following 2011’s brash debut The Darcys and 2012’s self-made interpretation of Steely Dan classic AJA, the Toronto quartet’s latest is the realization of more than three years of writing and six months in the studio. With a focus on sonic detail inspired by studio opuses of the 1970s, Warring is a meticulously crafted record in which The Darcys’ love of post-soul and jazz are proudly evident alongside its brand of nuanced art rock.
