Click Therapy
reach their tenth installment with an EP from label head Lee Guthrie, this time with 3 simple but effective stripped back grooves that marry influences from the UKs Midlands and tech house scenes with US west coast flavours. As a celebration of the label’s tenth release they employ the services of Berlin-based, Italian duo, Minicoolboyz who have appeared on Dubfire’s Sci-Tec imprint, Darren Emerson’s Underwater, Richie Hawtin’s Minus and Nic Fanciulli’s Saved.

Lee Guthrie’s releases under his own name and as Digital Dirt have received a wealth of support from some of the house and techno scene’s biggest hitters during his label’s first year.  DJs such asRichie Hawtin, Layo&Bushwacka, Paco Osuna, Slam, X-Press 2, Luciano, Stacey Pullen, Terry Francis, Nathan Coles, Inland Knights and many more have supported his work.

Remixers Minicoolboyz have a string of successful releases on their own Amazing Records, as well as the aforementioned seminal imprints Sci-Tec, Saved, Underwater and Minus. The duo have also put out a slew of quality remixes on respected labels Kling Klong, MBF, Harthouse, Material and many many more.

Welcomed to the Click Therapy stable with open arms, their take on title track ‘Do This’ is a great example of their studio trickery and shows just why they are experiencing the success and DJ schedule their efforts truly deserve. The pair enjoy regular support from the likes of Richie Hawtin (as well as releasing on his label and featuring on a Hawtin DJ Mag CDBeatportal have dubbed them his prodigies), Dubfire (“The future stars of electronic music”), Marco Carola and Joris Voorn amongst others, and their remix on this EP shows why.
