First Ever Live Show on October 6th in Berlin

Boys Noize at LA’s HARD Festival 8/3 + NYC’s Electric Zoo Festival 9/2

Boys Noize announces his third album Out Of The Black to be released on October 2ndworldwide via his own label Boysnoize Records. The first rousing track from the album called “What You Want”

Alex Ridha – aka Boys Noize – is a Berlin-based producer, DJ and label owner who started producing and DJing at a very early age and is known internationally as a one of the most valued electronic artists (Independent Music Award in 2010 and 3 consecutive times Best Electronic Artist on Beatport).

The new album perfectly bridges the gap between his previous two efforts Oi Oi Oi andPOWER; providing the requisite in-your-face electro bang of classic Boys Noize on tracks like “What You Want”, “Rocky 2” and “XTC”, or more melodic songs like “Ich R U“ and “Reality“. At a time when mainstream electronic music, particularly the pervasive cultures of EDM and dubstep, have moved dance music out of the clubs and into the stadiums, Ridha is quick to acknowledge the old school house and acid records that shaped him as a DJ; the very same records that continue to bubble up as an influence on Out Of The Black.

Boys Noize is proud to bring a full live show to the stage for the first time on October 6th in Berlin, at the start of an extensive 25-city European live tour (dates below + more to be announced soon).

Alex Ridha is at the heart of Boysnoize Records and BNR Trax that involves a roster of over 100 releases by more than a dozen different artists (Spank Rock, The Faint, Mixhell, Strip Steve, Le1f, Housemeister and17-year old SCNTST etc). Along releasing two long players Oi Oi Oi and POWER with contemporary anthems “&Down,” “Don’t Believe The Hype” and “Jeffer” he’s had numerous releases with Mr. Oizo (aka Handbraekes), Erol Alkan, Jarvis Cocker and more.

Boys Noize has been on the forefront of remixing indie artists like Feist’s “My Moon, My Man,” long before it was a custom to remix non-dance tracks. Other remixes range from the likes of David LynchN.E.R.D, Depeche ModeSnoop DoggDaft Punk, The Chemical Brothers to name a few. Having worked with Scissor Sisters, Gonzales,Spank RockSantigold and Kelis, the highly sought after producer, is ready to show the world his best work to date.

Machines Don’t Care remix US superstar Kenna’s latest single

Artist: Kenna
Title: Chains
Label: Cheap Thrills
Date: 18th December

Famously indefinable, Ethopian-born and US-raised, genre defying artist Kenna has once again teamed up with his old high-school friend, and one half of Grammy award-winning duo N.E.R.D, Chad Hugo for his new single ‘Chains’, released on 18th December on Cheap Thrills.

Make no mistake this is smartly produced pop at it’s best, combining the kind of sharp and insightful lyrics that everyone can relate to with the kind of club music that no one can resist.

To complete the package, ‘Chains’ has been given a fresh once-over by Machines Don’t Care; label boss Hervé’s collaborative project, and Klifton Manner who first appeared on the ‘Deep Thrills Vol 1’ compilation early this year.

Not that this will come as a surprise to his many fans, with a phonebook that reads like a who’s who of US superstar producers, Kenna’s shared the stage with everyone from Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado to Mark Ronson, earning himself an MTV VMA nomination along the way.

As adventurous out of the studio as he is in, in 2010 Kenna organised the ‘Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro’, persuading the likes of Jessica Biel, Lupe Fiasco and Santigold to climb Africa’s highest peak to raise awareness of the global clean water crisis.

Never one to rest on his laurels Kenna continues to challenge genres and defy boundaries, as the world will discover on his forthcoming EP ‘Land 2 Air Chronicles’ and album ‘Songs for Flight’ both set for release in 2012.
