Holy Ghost! Release Video for “Teenagers in Heat” +Free Download and Announce More Tour Dates

Brooklyn-based band Holy Ghost! have unveiled a lyric video for their song “Teenagers In Heat,” a song co-produced by James Murphy that the band gave away for free last week. Watch the music video for “Teenagers In Heat” below, and then download the track for free.

“Teenagers in Heat” is an outtake from the recording sessions that birthed the band’s upcoming sophomore record Dynamics, which will be released on September 10th via DFA Records. Dynamics is the follow-up to the group’s critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, which was released in 2011 and was hailed as a “classic pop album” by The Los Angeles Times.

Holy Ghost! have been mainstays at the spring and summer festival circuit so far, and the band are preparing to hit the road soon for a run of dates with New Order. Check out the full itinerary below.

As a guitarist, “Because” has always been a bullseye track for me. The chord progression is like dark chocolate, the vocals are like a fine red wine, making it perfect inspiration for a melodic dubstep remix.

WSGM – Hankat & ZZed Bias / Maddslinky Free Download Remix

Hankat brings a deeper flavour to Iodine, laying the vocals effortlessly over a sped-up house groove creating a somewhat dreamlike club track. Zed Bias (born Dave Jones) is an English electronic musician who operates within the UK garage and broken beat genres, both as a producer and a DJ. Jones has also released material under the pseudonym Maddslinky, and is half of the Phuturistix duo, as well as other side projects. Zed Bias is best known for his single “Neighbourhood,” which reached #25 in the UK charts in July 2000. He has remixed artists ranging from Gabrielle, Kosheen, Maxim, Pharoahe Monch and The Streets. He runs the Sidestepper Recordings label.^. Zed Bias’ releases, which explore a more experimental or progressive side of the 2-step garage sound, have been hailed as a crucial element in the establishment of dubstep as a definable sound or genre.

Compuphonic shares his July Mixtape
