Wax Motif drops new Dirty Dutch #MusicMonday Mixtape(Free Download)

Following mixes from the likes of Dzeko & Torres, Showtek & Carita La Nina, Dirty Dutch presents the latest episode of their #MusicMonday mixtape series, made by Sydney-born DJ/Producer Wax Motif. Currently in high demand with his fresh mixing style, this new mix tape sees him debut a sizzling new electro house selection.

The mix focuses around the prominent bass lines and abrasive electro-influenced synths of the modern electro house scene with an energetic, eclectic and electronic vibe. It features Tom Staar’s remix of ‘Paper Aeroplane’ by Francesco Rossi, his own edit of ‘Sweaty Shirts Miracle’ from Gum Me vs Coco and his collaborative remix with Yolanda Be Cool – ‘We’, as well as ‘Computers’ by Etienne De Crecy, which is smoothly mixed into Tommy Trash’s ‘Monkey In Love’.

Wax Motif is at the top of his game in the electronic dance music world, with successful releases on Mixmash, Strictly Rhythm, Dim Mak, Fools Gold, Southern Fried and Mad Decent, receiving support from Tommy Trash, Diplo, Switch, A-Trak, Laidback Luke, Nicky Romero, Chuckie,  Steve Aoki, Adrian Lux and more. His remix of Chuckie & JunxterJack’s ‘Make Some Noise’ made it to the No. 1 spot on the Beatport Dubstep chart and now he returns to Dirty Dutch with this thumping electro set.

Duck Sauce, the Grammy-nominated duo consisting of Fool’s Gold trendsetting boss A-Trak and house legend Armand Van Helden, are putting the final touches on their debut studio album, Quack, due for release this fall on 3Beat Music. Together they shuffle into the summer with the absurdly catchy single “It’s You” and an equally bonkers, hair-raising video by acclaimed director Philip Andelman.

“It’s You” properly follows in the webbed footsteps of Duck Sauce’s past video hits, including 2011’s VMA nominated, comically grotesque “Big Bad Wolf” and the viral smash “Barbra Streisand” in 2010. The stadium-filling whistle of “Barbra” remains one of the biggest dance tracks of the last decade, racking up over 100 million YouTube plays and hitting #1 in 12 countries.

Duck Sauce plan to shake things up with Quack, coming later this year. This isn’t your typical dance album: Quack pushes the boundaries of house music and sampling into an absurdly visual listening experience, interwoven with skits, scratching and irresistible loops. An experimental turntablist from Chile-by-way-of Spain, DJ Raff’s debut album ‘Latino and Proud’ is a fusion of bass-heavy electronica and futuristic instrumental hip-hop, sounding something like Flying Lotus mixed with DJ Shadow. With years of extensive touring across Latin America, DJ Raff has shared the stage with top artists like Beastie Boys, Justice, Prefuse 73, Orishas, Matisyahu, and A-Trak.

We’d like to introduce you to Adam Kesher – a really cool French band (no, not one guy) with some amazing friends. See, the band is getting close to releasing their sophomore album – Challenging Nature – and its something you need to know about. First off all, its awesome. Second off all, it comes with a stamp of approval from some heavyweirght artists currently kicking it on the scene.
