Andrenachrome – ‘Science & nature’ EP(Stream)

Described as a cross between Beck, Bowie and Ian Brown. This is the debut EP from Lincolnshire’s solo artist producer Steve Eyre under the guise of Andrenachrome, who chooses retrofitted electronics and Tremolo guitar to accompany satire and modern problems.

The EP is available only via Bandcamp using the ‘pay what you like or nothing’ model.

Memory9, alias of groundbreaking musician Gadi Sassoon, is proud to announce the release of his third EP ‘Red Falcon’ this December, released via Mnemonic Dojo.
Memory9’s pathway into music is an interesting one, starting off with a scholarship at the Berklee College of Music in Boston at the tender age of 17, where he collaborated with diverse acts ranging from jazz groups and Cuban musicians to hip hop MCs.
This experience with musical diversity is evident in Memory9’s new release, ‘Red Falcon’, and the EP’s four tracks move between genres as varied as jungle, jazz, hip hop and footwork. Gadi himself is a trained jazz guitarist, and these elements of more traditional musical compositions are beautifully interwoven with sophisticated bassline beats and electronic samples. This organic combination of musical ideas has allowed Memory9 to develop his signature sound to compellingly explore a range of motifs. Inspired by the effect his colour blindness has on his perception of the colour red, the artist traverses images of dreams, desert planets, blood, lust and dust.

Anna Lunoe Unleashes ‘Breath’ Remixes & Music Video

Earlier in 2013 Anna Lunoe unleashed her breakthrough single ‘Breathe’ via Ultra Music and Fools Gold Records. Shortly after she was invited to join Canadian electronic phenomenon The Weeknd on his North American Tour, followed by non stop festival plays, headline club dates around the country, and direct support for the likes of Diplo, Disclosure, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Bag Raiders, wrapping the year throwing down a blazing set at the infamous 5000 strong Fools Gold Day Off block party.

To celebrate her incredible first year based on US soil she’s releasing a ‘Breathe’ remix package, enlisting production skills of Fools Gold veterans Treasure Fingers, Sleepy Tom and fellow Australian cohorts; Cosmo’s Midnight, Danny T & WordLife.
